Spring has arrived at Whistler Blackcomb, bringing longer days and more time to enjoy skiing and riding. There are still plenty of opportunities to get in some great laps.
Both mountains remain open until April 21, with access out of the valley via Whistler Village Gondola, Creekside Gondola, Blackcomb Gondola, and Excalibur Gondola.
On April 22, we will transition into spring operations, with Whistler Mountain closing for the 2024/25 winter season. Skiing and riding will continue on Blackcomb Mountain through to May 19.
Bike Park, we haven’t forgotten about you! Opening day will be May 16, with sightsee access commencing May 17. More information to come.
Here’s everything you need to know about mountain access, lift hours, lesson schedules, dining and guest services updates for the remainder of the 2024/25 ski and ride season.
Mountain Closing Dates
Please make note of the following key closing dates:
- Whistler Mountain: Last day of 2024/25 ski and ride season on April 21, 2025
- Blackcomb Mountain: Last day of spring operations on May 19, 2025
- PEAK 2 PEAK Gondola: Last day of 2024/25 ski and ride season on April 21, 2025
- Creekside Gondola: Last day of 2024/25 ski and ride season on April 21, 2025
Spring Lift Operating Hours :
- Now – April 21: 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM
- April 22 – April 27: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- April 28 – May 19: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Please note – Fitzsimmons Express will operate on a modified schedule: April 7–11 and April 14–18: 8:30 AM – 1:00 PM
Dining On-Mountain
The Chic Pea, Ollie’s, Pika’s, Raven’s, Roundhouse Seppo’s, Steeps and Umbrella Bar will be closing on Whistler Mountain on April 22, 2025.
Christine’s on Blackcomb, Crystal Hut will close on Blackcomb Mountain on April 22, 2025.
Rendezvous, Glacier Creek Lodge and Horstman’s Hut will remain open until further notice, with varying hours and closure dates. Stay close to our channels and website for updates.
Valley dining locations – Merlin’s, Dusty’s and Garibaldi Lift Co, will remain open for the spring.

Ski & Ride School
Core Snow School Operations:
- Final day: Monday, April 21
- Creekside Whistler Kids: Closing Sunday, April 13
- Starting April 14, all lessons will be based out of Whistler Village
- Seasonal and specialty programs will wrap up over the next few weekends
Spring Snow School Lessons:
- Meeting Time: 9:45 AM
- Meeting Location: Blackcomb Daylodge
- Beginner Area: Top of Blackcomb Gondola near Rendezvous
Lesson Options:
- Half Day: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM | $449
- Full Day: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM | $789
