Happy Thanksgiving to our U.S. friends! We’re gearing up for a stellar weekend at Whistler Blackcomb! Here’s all you need to know:
Lifts and Terrain: With Crystal Zone opening today and Harmony Zone yesterday, we have a total of 3,300 skiable acres across both mountains, serviced by Blackcomb Gondola, Jersey Cream, Catskinnner, Excalibur, Excelerator, and Crystal on Blackcomb; and Village Gondola, Creekside Gondola, Garbo, Big Red, Emerald, Franz and Harmony on Whistler.
Weather: Expect snow tomorrow and Saturday with cloudy skies and temperatures hovering around –5C in the alpine before warming up to –1C on Sunday.
Safety: A reminder that we are in early season conditions, so please be mindful of exposed and hidden hazards (like tree wells). Ski with a buddy and respect all signage on the mountains. If you have any questions or concerns, our Patrol team is here to help.
Tobogganing: It is not permitted on either mountain.
Parking: Is free at all Whistler Blackcomb owned lots (6-8 and Creekside Parkade) on a first-come-first-served basis. The Municipality of Whistler’s Day Lots (1-5) will also be open for paid parking. Additional paid parking is available underground in the village when all day lots are full. Visit our Getting Here and Parking page for more info.
Carpooling: To reduce traffic congestion and improve the guest arrival experience, Whistler Blackcomb’s trial carpool program is underway to encourage guests to travel together in vehicles with four or more people. This will be in place at Upper Lot 7 on Blackcomb and level P1 at Creekside Parkade between 6am-11am Saturday and Sunday and throughout the season during weekends and peak periods.
Guest Services: Our Whistler Village and Blackcomb Daylodge Guest Services locations are open from 8am-5pm. Our Creekside location is open from 8am to 4pm. Please visit our Hours of Operations page for more information.
