RIDE, ROAM, RECHARGE – YOUR WHISTLER BLACKCOMB SUMMER STARTS HERE

Summer officially arrives at Whistler Blackcomb this weekend, and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome guests from the Sea to Sky Corridor, the Lower Mainland, across Canada, the U.S., and beyond. Whether you’re here for adrenaline-pumping laps in the Whistler Mountain Bike Park, epic alpine views or relaxing mountaintop yoga, another season of mountain adventure is about to begin.

WHAT’S NEW AT WHISTLER MOUNTAIN BIKE PARK THIS SEASON

The celebration begins May 16 with the return of the Whistler Mountain Bike Park (WMBP) for the 2025 season. With trail crews hard at work and the early melt in our favour, we’re stoked for another summer of legendary laps in the Fitz Zone and beyond.

New this year, guests can look forward to a range of updates across the park:

  • A new access point to Zone 2 A-Line and Ninja Cougar
  • An alternate exit for BCC trails in Creekside
  • An extension of Pumpkin Moon
  • Upgraded wall rides on Crank It Up thanks to SRAM/RockShox
  • Plus, a refreshed Commencal rental fleet with bold new colorways

Returning this year, we have the always-popular Phat Wednesday race, the BC Cup, Canada Cup and, of course, Crankworx Whistler—the world’s biggest celebration of gravity-fueled mountain biking, which has moved back to August, from the 8th through to the17th

WMBP Season Passes and single-day lift tickets are available now, with additional perks available until May 18, and early bird pricing until June 13. Be sure to check out our Opening Day Trail Update to get the latest on what’s open.

ELEVATE YOUR SUMMER IN THE ALPINE

Looking for adventure beyond two wheels? Our Summer Alpine Experience officially launches May 17, offering lift-accessed sightseeing, alpine hiking and trail running, mountaintop dining, and more. New this year, Forged Axe Throwing adds an exciting new challenge to the mountain. With two axe-throwing stations open Fridays through Sundays, guests aged 10 and older can test their aim with this classic Canadian activity.

Also new this year, we’re teaming up with Tourism Whistler to bring its popular Nourish Wellness Series to Whistler Mountain’s alpine. From May 31 to June 29 a geometric dome at the Roundhouse Lodge observation deck will play host to unique experiences that invite guests to slow down and recharge, including alpine yoga, guided meditations, sound baths, inspiring speaker sessions, live music, and hands-on culinary workshops – all surrounded by panoramic views of the Coast Mountains.

From May 17 – June 13, the PEAK 2 PEAK Gondola will run on weekends only. Blackcomb Gondola will spin from May 17-19 before pausing operations for regularly scheduled maintenance. Whistler Village Gondola will operate starting May 17 and run daily for the entire summer. On June 14, the Whistler Mountain Bike Park and Summer Alpine Experience will fully open, including Peak Express (conditions permitting), which unlocks access to the Cloudraker Skybridge and Raven’s Eye Lookout.

The Mountain Top Summer Feast will kick off on June 20, running every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday through to August 31, with live music and unbeatable views. It’s an evening the whole family will love.

Summer Alpine Experience passes, and single-day lift tickets are available now, with early-bird pricing available until June 13.
