Celebrating 60 with Wonder Routes:
Whistler Blackcomb turns 60 this season, and we’re inviting you to celebrate in the best way possible by exploring the mountains like never before. Introducing Wonder Routes, a curated collection of seven color-coded trails designed to showcase the very best of our terrain. Each route comes with turn-by-turn directions, guiding you to scenic viewpoints, cultural touchstones, and iconic landmarks along the way. Whether you’re cruising mellow blues, weaving through glades, reliving Olympic glory, or discovering family-friendly zones, Wonder Routes make it easy to uncover hidden gems and create new memories on the slopes.

Season Long Stress-Free Parking & Arrivals:
We’re rolling out an expanded parking and arrivals program this season to help ease congestion and make your morning smoother. The program runs from Saturday, November 22 through April 5, 2026, between 6:00 AM and 11:00 AM on weekends, holiday Mondays, and during the December 27–31 holiday period. After 11:00 AM, all lots open to all vehicles. There are no fees and a two-reservation limit per guest. Options include a mix of free reserved carpool parking and free first-come, first served carpool parking for vehicles with four or more occupants in Upper Lots 7 and P1 of Creekside Parkade; free reservations-based parking (regardless of the number of occupants) in Upper Lot 6 and Creekside Surface Overheight and Creekside P2; and free general occupancy first-come, first-served spots in Upper Lot 8 and additional Creekside Parkade levels. Drop-off parking is prioritized for Snow School families. Notice a common theme here? Yup – it’s all free.

Opening Day Parking & Arrivals:
With Blackcomb Mountain opening on Friday, November 21st, the following will be available for Parking & Reservations Program this weekend

  • Creekside Parking Change: If you have a reservation for Creekside, please note that Creekside lots will not be available for skiing access on these dates. Instead, we will honour your existing reservation in Lot 7. You do not need to make a new reservation. If you prefer not to park in Lot 7, you may cancel your current reservation.
  • Shuttle Service: For all guests (with or without reservations), we will run a shuttle service from Lot 6 and Lot 7 from 7 AM to 4PM, every 20 minutes.  Shuttle service will start on Friday, November 21 and run over the weekend.
  • Gondola Access: The Excalibur Gondola will be available for download to Whistler Village, where you can walk to the Blackcomb Gondola for upload. Upload from Whistler Village to base 2 will also be available to return to your vehicle, but not for on-mountain access. Excalibur will be running starting Friday, November 21 into the weekend.

Bookings can be made via the Whistler Blackcomb Parking Page, with additional information on the 2025/26 parking and arrivals experience available on the Whistler Blackcomb website

Opening Day Lifts & Terrain:
We’re kicking things off bright and early with lifts spinning at 8:30 AM on Friday, November 21 on Blackcomb Mountain, with Blackcomb Gondola servicing Jersey Cream Express providing access to Wishbone. Hike-park access will be available. We require mandatory downloading at the end of the day from Blackcomb Gondola.

Whistler Mountain’s opening day terrain package will be shared the week of November 24. And yes, the legendary PEAK 2 PEAK Gondola will be running once both mountains are open, linking the two mountains for dual mountain access.

Stay in the Know with the My Epic App:
Want to know which lifts are spinning and which trails are ready? The My Epic app has you covered. Throughout the season, you can check real-time terrain and lift status, snow reports, and conditions info, all from your phone. Plus, get instant mountain and resort alerts so you’re always dialed in or ask the My Epic Assistant for help.

Snowfall & Snowmaking Updates:
Our expert snowmaking and grooming teams are hard at work, taking advantage of every cold-weather window to fire up the snow guns and give Mother Nature a helping hand. Our teams will continue to expand our terrain package and deliver the best possible conditions for your first turns of the season.

Safety First:
Start the season smart. Remember, we’re in early season conditions; the snowpack is still being built, and marked obstacles will be present. Please slow down, stay alert, and ease back into the rhythm of the mountains. Ski and ride with a buddy, follow all posted signage, and take time to refresh your knowledge of the Alpine Responsibility Code. It’s also a good idea to save our Ski Patrol number in your phone: 604-935-5555. Your safety is our top priority.

On-Mountain Eats & Valley Vibes:
There are plenty of options being served up for opening day.  Rendezvous, Christine’s and valley restaurants, GLC, Dusty’s, and Merlin’s  (including Wizards) will be open to kick off the season. For the remainder of the season, here’s what you can expect at our dining locations:

  • Following its popularity this summer, the new Merlin’s brunch menu will continue into the winter season. Once opened, Indigenous-inspired dishes, created in partnership with the culinary team at the Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre, will once again be served at Merlin’s and  Raven’s Nest (top of Creekside Gondola, once open).
  • On Whistler Mountain, Chic Pea remains a family-friendly favourite, serving up cinnamon buns, sandwiches, hot chocolates, and stunning patio views.
  • Glacier Creek Lodge is the go-to lunch destination, offering a variety of options including fish and chips, tacos, ramen, and a pasta bar.
  • For elevated alpine dining, Steeps Grill and Wine Bar in the Roundhouse and Christine’s in the Rendezvous will once again offer world-class cuisine paired with jaw-dropping mountain views.
